I just wanted to check in with you to see how your day’s going, how are you doing? Are you feeling ok, or are you a little down?
Are you having a great time or are problems hampering your day?
Sometimes even the sunshine can’t lift our spirits.
It’s difficult sometimes acknowledging that somethings in our lives aren’t going the way we would like or working out the way we hoped. REALITY CHECK - IT HURTS!
Sometimes it’s easier to suppress our emotions rather than having to face challenges or cold hard truths that we’d rather runaway from.
Instead we eat, drink or shop them away. It’s so much easier to do that than face the truth about situations in our lives.
There’s a good chance that suppressing emotions is adding additional stress to your life.
It’s a hard habit to break when it’s been your coping mechanism for so long, in some cases,decades.
The reality is that you can only suppress those feelings for so longer. Emotions and feelings that are unchecked will come back stronger and more intense, which can lead to physical stress on your body.
And so it goes on and on.
